The Director of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University's International Relations Office and the Dean of the Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation Department, C/M Virmari S. Tan Ph.D., benchmarked the universityโ€™s progress in internalization of higher education at Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) Main Campus last October 22.

The event aimed at exploring pathways for global progress and success for the university, as they were enlightened by ideas and knowledge from ISAT Uโ€™s board officers.

The discussion was led by ISAT Uโ€™s Vice President of External Affairs, Dr. Nemia Mabacquiao, as they shared best practices in internationalization, and fostering collaboration among regional Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

Insights were also given by ISAT Uโ€™s national and international coordinators; Ms. Angeline Basco, Marketing and Communications Officer, Ms. Jieza Napone, and lastly the UNEVOC Focal Person, Ms. Lyza Belle Lagura.

Dr. Virmari Tan was accompanied by the JBLFMU International Relations Office unit coordinator; Dr. Louise May Lim, 2/M Aldin Turija, MSMM, and Mr. Jun Montano.
