After the recently concluded Community Service and Inceptions Day 2024, a total of 814 first-year students of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc. officially donned their shoulder boards, October 1.

This symbolic event symbolizes the hard-bitten journey every cadet of this University must go through in order to be worthy of being called a "true-blooded Lacsonian".

Initiation is brotherhood and camaraderie, with each obstacle symbolizing the challenges one cadet must go through in his life.

System Model Cadet 2024, Mdpn. Yohannes Prince Dionson, highlighted the importance of the student body's role in the University, stating that, "we at John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc. set the standards above the standards."

Hence, as the biggest producers of seafarers worldwide, this serves as a reflection, a responsibility of maintaining and wearing the uniform, making it clean and shiny.
