Medal after medal!

Student-athletes from John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc. landed three third-place finishes in beach volleyball and table tennis during the Iloilo Private Schools Athletic Association (ILOPRISAA) games 2025 last January 20-22 at the Breakthrough Restaurant and Marymart Center.

JBLFMU-A Menโ€™s Beach Volleyball team, comprised of Midshipmen Celmar John Bolivar, Andrey Sescon, and EJ Victorio, successfully secured a bronze medal after snatching a win against the Central Philippine University Golden Lions.

Meanwhile, Shawn Bryan Elle, Kent Josh Balasoto, and Jay Lord Bedoria, JBLFMU-Aโ€™s Beach Volleyball secondary boys team, suffered the same fate, falling short against Santa Clarita International School Inc.,ย  who later emerged as champions.

Moreover, JBLFMU-Aโ€™s Table Tennis representatives in the tertiary team event, Midshipmen Jone Ycrep Garferio, Joseph Anthony Estrada, Kenneth De Otoy, Reger Cloyd Genturo, and Zaki Kurt D. Gallo from JBLFMU-Molo, nabbed another bronze medal, narrowly losing against the University of San Agustin Golden Eagles in an intense best of five sets match.

The JBLFMU-A Beach Volleyball teams would like to thank Mrs. Maria Nobles-Ng, Breakthrough Restaurant owner, for allowing them to practice at the Breakthrough Restaurant court.
