"TOSIA Talks is the opening of TOSIA," Joey Infante, 2025 JCI Regatta LO President, stressed.

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) on February 1 welcomed 288 students coming from various institutions in Iloilo to initiate The Outstanding Students of Iloilo Awards (TOSIA) Talks 2025.

Held at John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc., the event featured three outstanding speakers: Richard Olano, 2024 TOSIA Circle of Five Awardee; Charmine Pearl Galo, 2015 TOSIA Circle of Five Awardee; and Sam David Andrada, 2023 TOSIA Circle of Five Awardee.

Hosted by Jharyn Kate Alviar TOSIA Awardee for the Junior High School category, the event was themed "ESTRELLA: Trailblazing a new breed of Ilonggo leaders." These talks were among the many legs aspiring TOSIA Awardees must complete to file for candidacy.

Notably, TOSIA has been a flagship project of JCI Regatta since 2009, which intends to give due honor and credit to Ilonggo students from junior high school and college who embody its four pillars: academic excellence, leadership, community involvement, and faith.
