"Let us all remember that we are all Lacsonians; let us sail and achieve more milestones," Dr. Ronald Raymond L. Sebastian quoted in his message and declaration of opening.

Following the day of padyak marinero, John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University launched its 77th Founding Anniversary with a vibrant foot parade, commemorative mass, and an opening ceremony today at JBLFMU-Arevalo campus, Iloilo City.

The opening ceremony commenced with the entrance of colors led by the Reserve Officer's Training Corps (ROTC), followed by the message of Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ronald Raymond L. Sebastian, officially declaring the 77th Foundation Week Celebration of JBLFMU open, emphasizing the significance of "one as a JBLFMU family" for excellence and solidarity.

"This foundation week is not just a celebration of our past; it is also a time to celebrate and look forward to the future. We continue to innovate; we continue to aim and improve," Dr. Sebastian added.

Furthermore, a noteworthy moment of the Silent Drill Exhibition of the Reserved Officer's Training Corps (ROTC), followed by the presentation of System Model Cadet and Mr. and Ms. JBLFMU System 2025 finalists.

Meanwhile, Tribo Pan-ay, Dinagyang Festival's first runner-up, performed a masterpiece on stage, leaving the audience in complete awe.

This yearโ€™s founding anniversary, slated for February 3-7, promises a celebration of solidarity, innovation, and camaraderieโ€”symbol of the prospering Lacsonian spirit.
