โ€œPDM is a gold mine.โ€

These were the exact words said by Capt. Vicente Fedelicio, which are greatly shared by Dr. Ronald Raymond L. Sebastian, Chief Executive Officer, during the opening of the coffee shop at Puerto Del Mar, Guimaras, February 4.

Dr. Sebastian was accompanied by Dr. Mary Lou Lacson Arcelo, President Emeritus and Chairman of the Board, in the ribbon-cutting of the coffee shop as they openly welcomed the newly built establishment in the training center together with the Board of Trustees, Administrators, Deans, and members of the System.

โ€œI want to thank the people that made this coffee shop and exhibitcom beautiful. For me, itโ€™s really good and an amazing job to do that,โ€ Dr. Sebastian stated, praising the coffee shop staff.

Furthermore, the system heads were planning to add more future projects in the training center for the students and for the environment.

โ€œAs a seafarer and being part of a maritime school, ginatudluan gid naton ang mga estudyante nga maging protector sang environment,โ€ Dr. Sebastian added.

Notably, two projects are being set for the training center: an aim for a mangrove forestation and a new mangrove bridge soon to be donated by Stolt-Nielsen Philippines.
