Teatro Bugsay-Layag, the premier and only theater organization of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc. debuted their act, "Eat, Vlog, Gha", during the 11th Iloilo Theater Festival (ILOTF) held at the University of San Agustin auditorium last May 3.

The theater act follows the story of Kasumbag and Mama Ruth, two food vloggers who approached truth differently by serving varying flavors to their subscribers.

The organization's array of stars: Brave Niรฑo Blanco, Jian Carlo Roldan, Rhy-z Ivan Buen, Gusteve Masbaรฑo, Chreystel Jhade Tupas, Brent Ozwald Alkonga, and Jan Anton Sutacio brought this story to life.

Moreover, Jamill Tagaytayan, Dave Andre Sobrevega, Zedrick Fabon, and Harry Gamayon also played crucial roles as production designers. While Bient Saint Jhames Allado served as the stage manager, Jan Alex Potente as the technical director, and James Emmanuel Gabayeron and Mr. Stephen Bajande led the play as directors.

Organizations from various institutions such as Iloilo Doctorโ€™s College, West Visayas State University, Kapawa Performing Arts of Balasan, Iloilo, Teatro Laragway of Enrique B. Magalona National High School, Theatre Kids Collaborative of Iloilo City, Balangaw Artists Collective of Bacolod City, and Daglaw Experimental Theater of Iloilo City also showcased performances in the said event.

Themed โ€œAdd Theater to Tasteโ€, the two-day event featured nine original plays from eight theater companies on the first day and a conference and workshop the next day.
