John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc.'s faculty and staff reviewed the school policies during the re-orientation and coffee break with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Ronald Raymond Sebastian at JBL Hall, May 21.

The four-hour event featured numerous announcements and information dissemination from every department.

Mrs. Cherlly Sunio from the IT Department announced the development and launching of JBLFMU Application, currently available on android phones where the JEL is embedded for easy access.

Meanwhile, the HR Department discussed the data privacy agreement of the employees, the Registrar announced the schedule for the academic year 2025-2026, the Quality Assurance pointed out the need to follow the criteria for QA Level IV,  and the SHS Department emphasized the need to strengthen their program following the change from the Department of Education.

On the other hand, Mrs. Rohena Miranda, Head of the Students Affairs and Services, reminded the attendees that there will be a recognition program for awards and activities completed by the students. Additionally, there will also be an award for the advisers of each organization.

Captain Nestor Baluya from BSMT Department announced that there is currently a talk on how to implement the National Marine Merchant Aptitude Test (NMMAT) to become an entrance exam for all incoming BSMT students nationwide.

Lastly, an open forum with the CEO was conducted to discuss issues, concerns, and thoughts of the faculty member of JBLFMU-A.
