Students, faculty, and staff of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc. congregated at the JBLFMU-A covered gym for the first flag ceremony of the academic year 2025-2026 despite the inclement weather yesterday, July 22, 2025. 

The program is usually held every first Monday of the month simultaneously with the haircut inspection. 

After the ceremony, department heads including, Mr. Robert O. Parcia, MSMM, Administrator; Capt. Nestor Baluya, Dean, College of Maritime Education; Dr. Jonas A. Gonzales, RCrim Dean, College of Criminal Justice Education; and Dr. Mary Mae Jun Palma-Esmaya, Senior High School Principal, delivered their messages and announcements.

In addition, as part of the program, 2/O Jan Patrick Miraflores discussed “Integrity,” one of the core values of JBLFMU.
