BSMT students showcased their talents in singing and dancing, as they competed in the Sayawitan during the BSMT Day celebration at the school gymnasium yesterday, September 23.
The event featured teams inspired by traditional Philippine boats—Balangay, Paraw, Vinta, Karakoa, Baloto, and Bangka.
The performances varied in song choices, costumes, and choreography that showed hope, protest, and unity.
Each team delivered their message with clear emphasis on their chosen theme.
This year’s BSMT Day was the first ever celebrated, with the theme "Honoring Maritime Brilliance Excellence through Unity and the Lacsonian Spirit of Ingenuity", this aligns with the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANAMo) 2025 celebration.
