John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc., students, faculty, and staff gathered at the university gymnasium this morning to celebrate the first Holy Mass of the year. Rev. Fr. Reynel Tanalgo emphasized in his homily that weakness paralyses people when they face guilt and discouragementโ€”this keeps them away from hope and freedom, but Jesus, with His divine holiness, wants to heal their hearts. "There is somebody to help you. Sometimes our faith is great because of the people who help us, support us, and carry for us," he said. This mass serves as a reminder that the world moves forward, not only by strength, but also through the prayers, encouragement, and guidance of the people around us.
