Last Monday, November 20, 2023 the University's BSTM program did a headquarter tour and study visit in UNESCO-APCEIU where Mrs. Amabelle Tabares-Agregado, program head of the BSTM program gave a message and pledge of commitment to embed and embody the ideals and principles of GCED in the BSTM curriculum delivery, as well as in BS Tourism Management students' holistic formation, and transformative engagements in campus and community life.

Miss Mira Mae Mira Rojo, current SSG president and a BSTM 3 student gave a speech on how a college student leader like her can live a life committed to GCED actions, and vision.

Through a welcome message, headquarter Director Lim Hyun Mook of UNESCO APCEIU warmly welcomed the BSTM delegation and expressed his appreciation on how John B.Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Molo, Inc. perseveres to promote Education for International Understanding/ Global Citizenship Education since 2021, and nowadays that conflict is felt in some parts of the world.

The APCEIU Team then toured the participants in the Model UNESCO-APCEIU Session Room, and in GCED Campus where each was given a GCED passport to access the area. The BSTM students, and faculty engaged in several GCED stimulating activities designed for GCED learners.

The study visit was one of the segments of the BS Tourism Management program's Educational Tour 2023.
