John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) officially kicked off its 76th Founding Anniversary Week with the theme “Charting New Horizons: JBLFMU 76 Years of Maritime Excellence,” at John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation-Bacolod (JBLCF-B), February 5.
The week-long event commenced with a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Joel E. Roquez, followed by a grand caravan – a parade featuring representatives and delegates from the three units: JBLFMU-Molo, JBLFMU-Arevalo, and JBLCF-B, and opening ceremony.
The ceremony showcased the raising of banners, the presentation of finalists for System Model Cadets and candidates for Mr. and Ms. JBLFMU 2024, and a silent drill performance from the JBLFMU 802nd NROTC Unit Arevalo and Molo.
Moreover, Dr. Mary Lou L. Arcelo, President Emeritus, delivered her 76th founding anniversary message, while Dr. Ronald Reymond L. Sebastian, CEO, delivered an inspirational message and officially declared the opening of the 76th anniversary.
