JBLFMU-MOLO HONORS the 126th Birthday of Captain JOHN B LACSON
Milestone on the Day of the Founder
Today, the JBLFMU-Molo, Inc. community commemorated the founder Captain Juan Bautista Lacson's 126th birthday. Captain Lacson whose lasting impact on maritime education is a source of motivation and dignity.
From his earliest years to his last expedition, Capt. John B. Lacson's dedication and leadership are still an inspiration. His vision continues to motivate upcoming generations of seafarers and maritime industry professionals, as does his unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of maritime performance.
The celebration of Captain Lacson's birthday this year also served as a historic milestone for JBLFMU-Molo community in its activation of air conditioning units in all classrooms in the campus.
According to Mr. Parcia, energizing these air-conditioning units is a “huge milestone for the JBLFMU - Molo community” in providing a more conducive learning spaces for the students in the campus.
President Emeritus Dr. Mary Lou L. Arcelo, her son Dr. Ronald Raymund L. Sebastian, CEO of JBFLMU, and our administrator, Mr. Robert O. Parcia, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Eventually, the blessing of the air conditioning units in every classroom followed.
The department heads, teachers, and students joined the Lacson family in laying a wreath at the statue of Capt. Lacson.
