Earlier today, John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Molo campus kicked off the academic year 2024-2025 with its annual Synergy program, designed to welcome both new and returning students.
Engr. Roberto Neal S. Sobrejuanite, the newly appointed administrator, set the tone for the event with an opening message.
"John B. offers quality education and training," he affirmed, promising that the institution would provide students with the necessary resources, particularly in classrooms and laboratories, to better prepare them for their future careers.
Engr. Sobrejuanite emphasized two core values for the school year: courtesy and discipline.
"I want you to be courteous," he stated, underlining the importance of respect and politeness within the school community. "And the value of discipline," he continued, "it will be your ticket to success," resonating with the students and setting a clear expectation for the year ahead.
The program featured a variety of activities, including the Supreme Student Government’s Synergy video presentation, followed by a values-sharing session led by 3/E Andy Ryota Idei, who reinforced the importance of the values highlighted by Engr. Sobrejuanite.
Additionally, students were oriented on the principles of courtesy, discipline, and the proper dress code.
The event concluded with a presentation of different student organizations and a uniform show-off, giving new students a glimpse of the various opportunities available at JBLFMU-Molo.
