The John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) has forged a new partnership with Synergygroup Operations, Inc., opening doors of opportunity for its female cadets.
Representatives from Synergy Group visited JBLFMU to offer scholarship and placement programs to the university’s female students taking BS Marine Engineering and BS Marine Transportation.
This collaboration aims to promote gender equality and inclusivity within the maritime industry, providing female cadets with valuable career paths.
The Synergygroup team was led by Capt. Krishna Mundath, Director, and included Miss Phoebe Baczynski, Chairperson, Miss Christina Amparado, Officer-in-charge of the Synergy Iloilo Branch, and Mr. Nick Andrew Galve, Assistant Marketing and Sourcing Manager.
JBLFMU officials, including Dr. Ronald Raymond L. Sebastian, CEO, Engr. Roberto Neal Sobrejuanite, Administrator of JBLFMU-Molo, Inc., and Capt. Luis G. Evidente Ph.D, Executive Assistant of the CEO for External Affairs, were also present for a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing.
The partnership between JBLFMU and Synergy Group is a testament to the university’s commitment to providing its students with the best possible opportunities and fostering strong industry connections.
