From October 31- 02 November 2024, Dr. Louise May Lim presented her research titled "Media, Information, and Digital Literacy of Maritime U's CBM Students: A Basis for a Critical Media and Digital Literacy Program Toward Global Citizenship Education," co-authored with Dr. Angeli Sebastian, at this year’s Asian Congress for Media and Communication.
Joined by one of the panel chairs/moderators in the recently concluded's ACMC International Conference in the University of Social Science and Humanities-VNU in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, Dr. Elsie Garcia from the College of Maritime Education, Dr. Lim showcased JBLFMU-Molo’s commitment to advancing media and digital literacy on an international stage.
This university-funded international Conference presentation and participation, led by Engr. Roberto Neal S. Sobrejuanite, aims to strengthen global citizenship education by enhancing critical media literacy among students.
