Parents and Team Members Association (PTA) hosted Family Day 2026 at the university gymnasium today, February 7.
The event featured a short talk on Generational Characteristics: Parenting Across Generations by the guest speaker from West Visayas State University College of Medicine, Dr. Eunice V. Sermonia, MD FPPA.
Moreover, Capt. Jonathan Villaflor shared a brief history about John B. Lacson Maritime Vanguard Services, Inc. (JBLMVSI) and encouraged the parents to visit the training ship of the institution.
Furthermore, Mrs. Rohena Miranda, Head of Student Affairs and Services, discussed details regarding the admission and enrollment process for the upcoming school year.
ย To make the family day more interactive and fun, the PTA board held a raffle draw and bingo bonanza, with various prizes in kind and in cash for the winning attendees.
Participants were the parents, teachers, and students from SHS, BSMT, and BSCrim of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc.
