Select members of the faculty and staff across the Lacsonian system convened at John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation-Bacolod for a two-day intensive workshop last August 24-25 in preparation for the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).

Facilitating the activity was Dr. Joeanne Mae Escober, Director for International Linkages at Central Philippines State University.

Throughout the two-day workshop, the unit representatives had the opportunity for in-depth discussion and sharing of best practices from their respective units.

Representing the Arevalo unit were Dr. Cristy Cangrejo, Dr. Mary Mae June Esmaya, Capt. Julyven Juanica, 2/M Majella Angelie Albances, and 2/M Jerard Madrillo.

This endeavor is also part of the universityโ€™s strategic planning for strengthening innovations, institutional excellence and global competitiveness. This also aligns with its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, namely: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9).
