Select members of the faculty and staff across the Lacsonian system convened at John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation-Bacolod for a two-day intensive workshop last August 24-25 in preparation for the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).
Facilitating the activity was Dr. Joeanne Mae Escober, Director for International Linkages at Central Philippines State University.
Throughout the two-day workshop, the unit representatives had the opportunity for in-depth discussion and sharing of best practices from their respective units.
Representing the Arevalo unit were Dr. Cristy Cangrejo, Dr. Mary Mae June Esmaya, Capt. Julyven Juanica, 2/M Majella Angelie Albances, and 2/M Jerard Madrillo.
This endeavor is also part of the universityโs strategic planning for strengthening innovations, institutional excellence and global competitiveness. This also aligns with its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, namely: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9).
