Additionally, Patrisha Dawn D. Hablo and Jose Mctristan Emmanuel L. Matias competed in the ASEAN Minds, a quiz bee contest focused on the various regions of the ASEAN.
Moreover, the group of Kraile Angel Anne T. Escander, Krisha Mae M. Mascariรฑas, Dan Jones R. Noca, Dincent Sapeda, and Frenchie C. Villanueva showcased their work in the ASEAN Creators Digital Storytelling contest.
The activity is an initiative of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region VI in celebration of the 59th ASEAN anniversary to foster awareness of the ASEAN, regional solidarity and cooperation across various political, socio-economic and educational sectors.
The universityโs participation in these events align with its commitment to the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs): Quality Education (SDG 4), Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (SDG 16), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
