PANGINBULAHAN | 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗥𝗘 '𝟮𝟰; 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀


The Dolphin publication once again rose to the occasion as they garnered six awards from both the individual and group categories in the College Press Conference and Awards (COPRE) hosted by the Philippine Information Agency 6 last November 28, 2024 at the Iloilo Grand Hotel.

The Dolphin won three awards namely: third Best Facebook Page, fourth Best Filipino Page, and fifth Best Feature Page overall from 104 competing student publications and 846 student journalists.

The Dolphin's Editor-in-Chief, Mdpn. Jhonard Quirino topped this year's performance, winning second place in the Feature Writing (Filipino) category while Mdpn. Rayle M. Navigar, finished third in the same category.

On the other hand, Mdpn. Joeven Dolendo Jr., delivered picture-perfect shots, placing fifth in the Photojournalism (Filipino) category.

The College Press Conference and Awards is an annually held regional journalism contest in Western Visayas, with this year's theme being "Bagong Pilipinas: A New Breed of Developmental Communicators."
