JBLFMU-Molo Bakunawa proudly joined the Love Boracay International Dragon Boat Festival 2026 held at Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan on April 25–26, 2026, where they secured an impressive Overall 5th Place finish, competing against 38 national and international teams in their category.
Despite entering as underdogs and first-time competitors, JBLFMU-Molo Bakunawa have already emerged as rising challengers to top teams, finishing just milliseconds shy of a championship time.
The event gathered athletes in a vibrant coastal setting, with the team competing against strong local and international crews in the Premier Open 200m category.
Held along the waters of Boracay Island, the race challenged teams to showcase their strength and endurance.
JBLFMU-Molo Bakunawa displayed strong teamwork, discipline, and coordination throughout every heat of the competition, with each member contributing in maintaining rhythm and power during the race.
With this achievement, the team continues to build experience and strengthen its commitment to excellence in dragon boat racing, proving their determination to compete at a higher level in the future events.
