The Engineering Week 2026 of JBLFMU-Molo opened with a foot parade from four districts, showing unity, pride, and a strong competitive spirit among students.
Captain Date Dalipe, Marine Superintendent of Eiko Kisen Co., Ltd., attended the program and delivered an inspiring message.

As the keynote speaker, he urged students to understand their purpose before going on board, while promoting the mindset “go lng ng go tiwala lang” as a guide for trust and perseverance, and reminding them to practice kindness, avoid judging others, and give their best in every challenge.
The ceremony continued with the oath of sportsmanship led by Mdpn. Mark Jay Berondo, followed by C/E Reynold D. Libiano, OIC-Dean of the College of Maritime Education, who then declared the official opening of Engineering Week 2026.

The torch lighting followed, led by Mdpn. Hans Iñigo Parreño, where the flame symbolized consistency under pressure and the pursuit of excellence among future marine engineers.
The program continued with team presentations and cheers from District 2 Masonry, District 3 Technology, and District 4 Fishing, followed by a community dance and a Fancy Drill Competition by Polaris 2A and Polaris 2B, which showcased precision, coordination, and talent.
The opening program ended with a clear message that Engineering Week ’26 promotes excellence, leadership, and continuous growth of future marine engineers prepared for real maritime challenges.
The Engineering Week 2026 will run from May 4 to May 8, 2026.
