Parreño secures 9th, bears PH flag proud in SEA open waters

Carrying the Philippine flag with pride, Mdpn. Hans Iñigo Parreño delivered a strong finish for the Philippines after placing 9th in the 18–19 age category against Southeast Asia’s top open-water swimmers at the 4th Southeast Asia Open Water Swimming Championships, held at Boracay Newcoast, Malay, Aklan, August 21-23.

Guided by Coach Roland Sta. Ana, he navigated the open-sea course with composure, pushing through challenging conditions to deliver a solid performance against Southeast Asia’s seasoned swimmers on home waters.

His 9th-place finish marks a proud milestone for the young swimmer, who didn't just bring pride and honor to the Lacsonian community, but also bore the Philippine flag with distinction throughout the three-day event.
