The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) of Sri Lanka organized the WOMEN’S STUDIES 2023. The theme of the conference is “Gender Justice and the

Power of Feminisms: Dismantling Patriarchy, Building Equity”

PURPOSE OF WCWS 2023

The purpose of the World Conference on Women’s Studies is to offer participants an enriching opportunity to deepen knowledge of global feminisms along with the theoretical, policy, and personal dimensions of Women’s Studies scholar-activism worldwide, engaging with intersecting fields of Gender and Sexuality Studies and the many disciplines that constitute Women’s Studies—all toward building collaborative partnerships, offering publishing opportunities, and enacting visions of a more equitable and liberal world.

The gathering was dedicated to advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an ambitious blueprint for a more prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable world.

             Dr. Geneva M. Eler, the Dean of the Graduate School was able to present  virtually her paper : WOMEN SEAFARERS: SHARING THEIR TRIANGLE OF SUCCESS last May 11, 2023.

            The organizers extended  their gratitude for her  active participation in the recently concluded World Conference on Women Studies (WCWS2023).  They also emphasized that her

contributions made a significant impact, and  greatly appreciated her valuable insights and engagement.
