Learning in Action: Students and Employees Begin Their Immersion Journey

The Community Extension Services of the institutions successfully conducted its Student and Employee Immersion, bringing together newly hired employees of JBLFMU Molo and the NSTP students from the JBLCF-Bacolod (College of Business and Education) for a meaningful start to their experiential learning journey.
Held at JBLCF PDM and the Igang Bay Marine Sanctuary, the activity launched an immersion program designed to extend learning beyond the classroom and workplace. It provides real-world exposure, practical experience, and a deeper understanding of community engagement, environmental responsibility, and professional culture.
The CES Immersion program supports personal and professional growth by strengthening competence, character, and commitment to service. With orientation completed, participants begin their immersion journey equipped to gain practical skills, deepen social awareness, and build a stronger sense of purpose.
As part of the experience, participants also engaged in environmental and community-based activities, including a coastal clean-up, mangrove planting and bagging, and an Eco-Park educational tour — promoting conservation awareness and sustainable practices.
