The JBLCF Bacolod CES Office, led by CES Officer Mr. Ivan Gayotin, organized an employee immersion program at JBLCF PDM to familiarize staff with the advocacies and initiatives of CES on July 19, 2024. The program began with an orientation by CES Coordinator Ms. Mary Mar E. Jaleco, highlighting key programs, best practices, and guidance on forming CES committees for a deeper understanding of departmental functions.
Following the briefing, employees actively participated in hands-on activities supporting environmental conservation, including a coastal clean-up, mangrove nursery arrangement, tree planting, and familiarization with CES projects at PDM.
This immersive experience not only strengthened employees’ appreciation for CES initiatives but also advanced Sustainable Development Goals 13 and 15, fostering environmental stewardship and a shared commitment to sustainable, community-driven action.
