On August 12, 2024, the JBLFMU CES Coordinator served as facilitator and resource person during the Youth Eco-Adventure activity organized by the Municipality of Nueva Valencia, Guimaras, in partnership with the Municipal Federation of Sangguniang Kabataan. Held at JBLCF PDM, the event drew inspiration from the JBLFMU Eco-Adventure Camp Amazing Race, immersing participants in diverse environmental activities designed to build awareness and foster practical skills in conservation.
Aligned with the Linggo ng Kabataan 2024 celebrations, the activity emphasized youth empowerment, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. Through interactive challenges and learning sessions, participants gained firsthand experience in sustainable practices while strengthening teamwork and leadership skills.
This initiative highlights JBLFMU’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goals 13 and 15, nurturing environmentally conscious youth as active agents for a greener, sustainable future.
