JOHN B. LACSON COLLEGES FOUNDATION BACOLOD JOINS ARES MERCHANT PHILIPPINES, INC. IN THE LATTER’S ARES MARITIME SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT AT THE NEGROS OCCIDENTAL GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, APRIL 28, 2023.

ARES Merchant Philippines provides maritime scholarship opportunities and job placement grants that envisions to aid the nation-building by improving the quality of maritime education and Filipino Seafarers; particularly, it aims to improve the maritime educational standards and to slowly change a gender-based, male dominated industry by supporting an equal number of females to excel in both scholarship and job placement programs.

In his speech during the Awarding Night, JBLCF- B Administrator Engr. Roberto Neal S. Sobrejuanite, expressed his gratitude to the foundation and all its sponsors for choosing John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation- Bacolod as the recipient of the scholarship program and for the opportunities opened to the students.
