ROTC GAMES 2023; JA ATHLETES GEAR UP FOR THRILLING SHOWD

The much-anticipated Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Games 2023 started on October 22 at the Araneta Coliseum, with Hon. Carlito G. Galvez Jr. gracing the event as the guest of honor and speaker.

The ROTC Games opening ceremony is a spectacle to behold as numerous ROTC members coming from different parts of the country joined and graced the event, setting the stage for an exciting series of competitions.

Among the numerous delegates, the 802nd Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps unit (NROTCu) of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo) is represented by a team of athletes and coaches, ready to compete in various sports.

Led by Coach Elmer D. Abalde, the 3x3 basketball representatives include Augustine Leonard B. Denila, Jay Rico C. Loquiano, Ed Benedict P. Ledesma, and Earl Cedrick G. Lamprea.

Moreover, the athletics team is under the guidance of Coach Armand Isidore M Baluisa and are composed of Prudencio II A. Funa, Kent John Luiz Roa, Yljohn Lenard C Tadlip, Christian Dave Tabaldo, and Suren Mark V Lastimoso.

Preceding the games was the first-ever Miss ROTC, where MW/LCDR Heart Babunas of the 802nd NROTCu was one of the representatives of the Visayas leg in the national pageant.
