Pride of College of Business, Rodelyn Alvarez of Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management was ranked second place in the 7th Inter-School Tour Guiding competition held in Robinson's Place, Jaro, Iloilo City, May 9.
Alvarez was among the contestants from the other four competing universities in Iloilo. Coached by Ms. Weezie Kay Manucan, one of the Tourism faculty and assisted with her presentation by Ms. Marian Mestosamente, fellow Tourism student.
The said competition was hosted by the Iloilo City Community College during the 7th Intercollege Recycled Mini Attraction and Tour Guiding Competition with the theme, "Enhancing Resiliency of Panay Destinations".
