Recognition for JBLFMU strengthens its reputation as the top university in Western Visayas Region
The CHED Regional Quality Awards is one of the activities that aims to recognize the efforts and initiatives of the higher education institutions (HEls) in the areas of instruction, research, and community extension, among others, based on the relevant CHED Memorandum Orders and related Commission issuances.
Together with representatives from the academic units and Unit Administrators, CEO Dr. Ronald Raymond L. Sebastian accepted the following awards on behalf of JBLFMU during the 2nd CHED Regional Quality Awards held at the Cultural Center, West Visayas State University, La Paz, Iloilo City, May 19, 2023.
The following awards for JBLFMU are:
* JBLFMU Arevalo, JBLCF Bacolod, and JBLFMU Molo as Autonomous HEls in Region VI (effective June 1, 2019 up to May 31, 2021 and extended by CMO No. 7, s. 2021 from July 1, 2021 to May 31, 2023);
* JBLFMU is Top 71 HEl in the Philippines by EduRank;
* Best Implementer-SIKAP Grant; and
* JBLFMU Arevalo, JBLCF Bacolod, and JBLFMU Molo as Best Implementers of CHED Memorandum Order No. 6, Series of 2022: "Sustaining Flexible Learning in Higher Education".
