JBLFMU-Molo Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration (BSCA) faculty and students attended the online seminar of PEDREZA CUSTOMS/TARIFF WEBINARS, an affiliate of Customs and Logistics Advocates of the Philippines Inc. (CLAP) Customs Review Center via zoom.
The online seminar tackled, Concepts, Formulas and Computation on INCOTERMS 2020, Concepts and Computations under the primary method valuation (Transaction Value per Method 1), ROO - Principles and Application, and Avoid Paying Penalties under CAO 1-2020.
The webinar on October 25 deals with the concepts, formulas, and computations on INCOTERMS 2020. It emphasized the new INCOTERMS 2020, which was addressed by Prof. Ruben C. Pedreza, CB, EE, MCA. John Allen Tampos, Jobelle Calacar, Pearl Veunice Sepaya, Shaira Agregado, Peavy Jason Ismael, Rosevie Almario, and Noami Pacete, BSCA third-year students, attended the webinar.
Also, Mr. Kirk Buduan of CLAP highlights the computation of INCOTERMS 2020 on his CLAP webinar, which was attended by Charlotte Valdez and Chinie Paspe, BSCA second year students.
On October 29, a webinar focusing on the concepts and computations under the primary method valuation (Transaction Value per Method 1) is essential to the BSCA third-year student to compute the correct customs duty Prof Ruben C. Pedreza, CB, EE, MCA. It was participated by Pearl Veunice Sepaya, Kate Angelica Padilla, Shaira Agregado, Jude Magarzo, Collin Uriarte, John Allen Tampos, Peavy Jason Ismael, Jobelle Calacar, Noami Pacete, and Rosevie Almario.
Mrs. Jennefer Galaraga, BSCA Program Head join in the discussion of Engr. Art Bernandino, MBA that updates on the application of Rules of Origin under the different Free Trade Areas.
Mrs. Jennefer Galaraga, BSCA Program Head, and BSCA faculty members Mrs. Karenina Depamaylo, Mrs. Mary Ann Tagaytayan, and Mr. Jolly Sebastian, joined the CLAP webinar. The webinar featured the properly accomplishing SAD to comply with CMO 16-2020 and CMO 49-2019 to avoid penalties under CAO 1-2020, which was talked about by CB Mariene Derequito and CB Sam Gabisan last September 5.
